Additive manufacturing of any part always begins with a 3D model.

3D scanning is used in various industries to automate the search for defects and control the parts size.

Our Additive Technologies Center uses the most advanced 3D scanning equipment: the Atos ScanBox 4105 Optical measurement system based on the ATOS Capsule 12M

JSC ATC has the largest fleet of industrial equipment in Russia (3D printers, measuring machines, machining and laboratory equipment) and a team of technical specialists with considerable experience in the implementation and use of additive technologies. Reverse engineering

Reverse engineering is the process by which a finished product is researched to reveal its design for subsequent copying or creating a product with similar parameters and functionality.

The Additive Technologies Center offers design services from drawing to production.

Recovery of documentation on an electronic module allows its re-production even in case of loss of engineering files. As a result of reverse engineering, the customer receives documentation that is suitable for subsequent research, modification or production.

The result of reverse engineering is the creation of design documentation for recreating an analog (copy) of the product, as well as an accurate 3D model of the product ready for 3D printing

Design and adaptation for additive manufacturing

Our Center provides a full range of services for:

A. 3d modeling

3D modeling is the process of creating virtual models that allows to demonstrate the size, shape, design and other characteristics of an object with maximum accuracy. It is the creation of three-dimensional images and graphics using computer programs.

B. Topological optimization

Topological optimization (TO) is a computer-aided design method that helps to get the optimal shape of the product under specified operating conditions. The implementation of this method into the design process allows to reduce the time, to use the capabilities of both traditional manufacturing methods and additive technologies more effectively.

C. Adapting the 3D model of the product to the requirements and capabilities of 3D printing. The customer gets a product design ready for printing by chosen technology.

The Additive Technologies Center provides machining services in addition to additive manufacturing. Thus, we are able to produce products in accordance with the requirements of the design documentation.

1. Pre-screening of parts.

The customer fills out a specialized application form. Our specialists study the parts selected by the customer (from 5 to 10 parts), help the customer to choose the material and method of 3D printing in order to get the best economic effect.

2. Deep screening of the customer's nomenclature.

The customer receives input data on the capabilities of additive technologies and, basing on this data, the customer selects the maximum number of parts and gives it JSC ATC for further study.

Our specialists study each part in detail and give suggestions on how to apply AT to each part. At the output, the customer receives a detailed information about each part and the production price using additive manufacturing methods for comparison with traditional production.

3. Full audit of the customer's company.

Our specialists come to the customer's enterprise and screen the full range of the products. The customer also receives recommendations for topological optimization of products in order to improve parts characteristics (reducing weight, combining assemblies into a single part, reducing machining, reducing the price).
